Contact and error reporting

Question a claim, point to stronger evidence, suggest a subject, or raise a concern about the publication’s standards.

Report a possible factual error

A precise report is the fastest way to assess a concern. Please include the guide title or address, the exact passage, why it may be inaccurate, and a reliable supporting source when one is available.

Disagreement is welcome, but it is not automatically a factual error. Reports are evaluated against the available evidence and the wording of the published claim. Confirmed errors are handled under the corrections and disclosures policy.

What to include in a message

  • A clear subject line that identifies the guide or request.
  • The relevant page address and a short quotation of the passage.
  • A concise explanation of the concern or proposed correction.
  • A link or full citation for supporting evidence, if applicable.
  • How you would like to be credited if your contribution is noted.

General and editorial inquiries

Thoughtful suggestions for future subjects, relevant sources, and potential collaborations are welcome. A proposal should explain why the question matters to readers and what experience or evidence you would bring to it.

A message may not receive a reply, and sending an idea does not create an agreement to publish, collaborate, or provide attribution. Those details should be agreed explicitly before work begins.

Personal medical questions

This publication cannot provide diagnosis, treatment, or personal medical guidance. Do not send symptoms, medical records, images, patient identifiers, or other confidential health information.

Contact an appropriate health professional for individual care. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services now. The medical disclaimerexplains this boundary in full.

Privacy and responsible contact

Share only the information needed to understand your message. A factual correction usually requires a public source, not personal health information.

How contact information is received, used, and retained will be described in the privacy notice before a public inbox or form is activated.
